I offer workshops geared towards practicing magicians. My rates are quite reasonable... Low cost to free if you are within the KC Metro area. I only charge for my travel expenses if you are not. Of course, I'm always open to trading my time for any advertising space you may wish to offer.

This is a one to two hour workshop that introduces modern magical theory and practice. We discuss various magical theories, exercises, and techniques with an emphasis on practical application. That being said, we start this workshop with a review of magic theory. I then follow that theory with some practical exercises that can be used as a foundation to help us to develop our magical skill set. The information presented is intended to be tradition agnostic.â What I present is meant to be open ended and generic enough that you can apply the information in your tradition with little or no modification to my material or your tradition. This workshop uses what I've come to think of as traditional magical techniques in new ways. Mostly, the intent is to give ourselves new tools that help us to manifest our Will and act in our day-to-day lives instead of react.

Topics Covered

Magic Theory. This section reviews Thelemic theory, Chaos Magic Theory, and presents highlights from the theories presented in my book.

Wax On Wax Off. Also known as "the exercises." Here I present occult techniques common to many traditions including the Body of Light, concentration, and visualization exercises.

Ritual Deconstruction. I present a common ritual format, examine some of the meanings and rationale behind each portion of a ritual, and provide techniques for deconstructiong, or understanding how rituals are constructed so that we can "roll our own."

Astral Plane and Skrying. I examine some modern concepts regarding the astral plane and how to effectively work with it.

Tools of the Trade. I round out the workshop with a presentation of techniques for creating mnemonic triggers as well as exercises designed to help us open our minds to the information that flows around us.

Both of these workshops have a lot of material in common. One focuses on using runes for magic, and the other focuses on using them for divination. Each is one hour long. I'm currently reorganizing the material. The syllabus is forthcoming.
